SUMMARY:Screening of Left Behind: Health and Hope in North Carolina
DESCRIPTION:The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network is hosting an event in Raleigh on Thursday\, January 30th at 6:00 pm for the premiere screening of Left Behind: Health and Hope in North Carolina. This new documentary short film features hardworking North Carolinians from across the state striving to care for their families and communities without access to health care. Immediately following the screening will be a live panel discussion and Q&A featuring the filmmaker\, subjects featured in the film and community leaders. Refreshments will be available before the screening.   \nThis event is part of the Medicaid Covers US public education campaign organized by the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network. The campaign and this film are intended to foster an important and open dialogue about the role that Medicaid plays in the lives of our friends\, neighbors and communities.
