I really hope the citizens in Asheboro and Randolph County will get behind the people in Raleigh and get Medicaid expanded. One good reason is to keep our hospital (Randolph Health) open. We cannot even think about letting our hospital close.
I know Phil Berger and Tom Moore are dead against Medicaid expansion and the rest follow them like puppets. They could care less about the citizens of Randolph County, it’s all about politics. They brag about employment being so good. When you cut taxes for top corporations, sure they can hire more people. But what kind of wages do they pay?
It’s time to put politicians in Raleigh who care more about the people and communities than politics, but we go right back to the same old crowd, expecting changes and never seeing results. It will never change, until we make the change.
