A Health Care Can’t Wait vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Opportunities Industrialization Center at 300 N. Grace Street.
The event is part of a coordinated statewide event in more than 20 other towns and cities to honor and remember the people who have died and suffered in the Medicaid coverage gap, according to organizers from the N.C. Justice Center.
Faith leaders, local elected officials, health care providers and people directly impacted by the Medicaid coverage gap are scheduled to speak at the vigil in Rocky Mount.
